Director of 'The Last of Us: Part II' Revealed Halley Gross As The Co-writer Of The Game

Neil Druckmann, "The Last of Us: Part II" director revealed that Halley Gross who is also the writer of "Westworld"  will also be the writer of the game. He also revealed the song Through the Valley by Shawn James that is used in the trailer of the game.

The director posted on his official twitter account that Halley is his kickass co-writer according to Gamespot. Druckmann is also excited to share more stories to all the viewers. He also posted a spoiler alert that "The Last of Us: Part II" is going to be intense.

Halley Gross is the writer of Westworld Episodes "Trimple L'Oeil" as well as "The Adversary". She is also a story editor on other episodes like "Chesnut" and "The Stray". 

The director also confirmed via his twitter account that beautiful song on the trailer of "The Last of Us: Part II" was Through the Valley by Shawn James. Unfortunately, Bruce Straley will not be part of the sequel. He also co-directed the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End". The reason of his not coming back is he will take a yearlong sabbatical. Straley is taking some time away from stress on intensive game development workloads.

Director Neil Druckmann revealed that Naugthy Dog almost did not go through with " The Last of Us: Part II" according to Gadgets. The rationally behind this is due to the fact that the story is not so special enough to satisfy viewers. 

There are speculations that Naughty Dog will release more information in the following months. "The Last of Us: Part II" was disclosed at Play Station experience 2016 reveal trailer that has been produced in an early version of the game's engine. 

Halley Gross became popular for her creations on the HBO hit series, Westworld. It has well known to have a better writeup and it has been part of the TV series for how many years. However, "The Last of Us: Part II" was revealed at the Play station Experience and it was also disclosed that Ellie will be playing the main role in the game.
