Singer Demi Lovato's Bipolar Disorder Is An Inspiration: Talks About How She Manage To Live Well With Mental Health Balance

Bipolar disorder is rampant these days because of lifestyle change. Since people tend to undermine mental health issues, misunderstanding about the condition occurs. It may be a serious illness if not monitored but there are means to overcome that and excel in your craft just like Selena Gomez, Kanye West, and Demi Lovato who speaks openly about her ordeal.

Lovato was hospitalized in 2011 when she was first diagnosed with the bipolar disorder. She has struggled with addiction plus cutting and eating disorders and quite vocal in sharing her experiences to help in building awareness on the condition. The illness can be treated with the support of the people around you. She volunteers  herself to be the living proof for that. 

The 24-year-old singer is aware of the chemical imbalance within her system but lucky enough to have supportive friends and family members. It's not something that you can treat by drinking medicines only. She advocates in helping others afflicted with Bipolar as well by participating in five organizations for mental health like "Be Vocal: Speak Up for Mental Health."

Her involvement in this mental health awareness campaign is crucial to her fans as well. It's because, depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia usually exist among them. She also discloses her helping Getty Images and photographer Shaul Schwarz portray a more responsible mental health visuals for the country to correct the negative stigmas that prevent people from opening up.

Demi Lovato is dedicated to preventing stigma affecting anything mental health which is somewhat adorable. She would rather bring her struggles and successes out into the open with the disease than hide it. She knows how easy it is to go out of control when people with Bipolar are not fully aware of what they have and having no idea in dealing with it, according to LA Times.
