'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Air Date, News, Updates & Spoilers: New Abbie Mills Clips At S4? Ichabod Crane To Lose His Head?

"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 introduces a Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) to a new world in Washington D.C and must take care not to lose his head. As his initial foray after leaving Sleepy Hollow, New York and losing fellow Witness Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie), Sleepyheads will see Ichabod Crane carry on. More importantly, Sleepyheads will also see clips of Abbie Mills in Season 4.

As IMDb posts, Sleepyheads will see Abbie Mills in the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere episode ("Columbia"). Abbie Mills is also credited in the casting for Episode 2, "In Plain Sight." The question now is whether Abbie Mills' presence in Season 4 will only be flashbacks or if Sleepyheads will actually be treated to new clips of their fallen hero.

Meanwhile, TV Insider reports that Sleepyheads will see Tom Mison in a new "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 promotional art, where Ichabod Crane tucks his head under his arms. Will Ichabod Crane be in danger of losing his head come the new challenges of Season 4? Sleepyheads may be struck by the accompanying slogan, which says "Carry on."

The media outlet points out that these words embody the continuing fight by Ichabod Crane despite his difficulties. The tag line is also believed to be a nudge to move forward despite the losses from "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3, most significant of which was the death of Abbie Mills. With new challenges to face, Ichabod Crane will have a new ally in Diana Thomas (Janina Gavankar) and a familiar ally in Jenny Mills (Lyndie Greenwood) as Parent Herald cites.

Certainly the introduction of the new Witness to both Ichabod Crane and Jenny Mills in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will be one of the more exciting prospects for Sleepyhead. As seen in an earlier report by Comingsoon.net, Season 4 will premiere on Jan 6, 2017. Ichabod Crane will then become acquainted with his new mission - to save and protect Washington D.C. and democracy itself.

Sleepyheads would be heartened to see Ichabod Crane becoming more caught up with the times in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. Post Abbie Mills, Ichabod Crane will even be managing his own social media account. Which is just as well considering that the "Sleepy Hollow" hero will be pitted against new villain Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies).
