Nintendo NES Classic Edition Release Date, News, & Updates: Toys R Us, Urban Outfitters Sold Out? Amazon to Restock?

With Christmas fast approaching, Nintendo's newly released NES Classic Edition has been mostly sold out in stores, including online stores. For those wanting to get their hands on the hottest console in the market, reports have it that Toys R Us are restocking and it seems that Urban Outfitters will follow. While Amazon has restocked on the hottest item on the market.

Express previously reported that both Toys R Us and Urban Outfitters will restock the Nintendo NES Classic Edition. This is surprising news for gaming fans as Urban Outfitters specialize in clothing, not consoles. They are just joining the hottest-selling item in the market today. Unfortunately, their stocks are limited to the United States only. This is depressing news for fans waiting in the United Kingdom.

However, as of yesterday, Urban Outfitters have sold out most of their Nintendo NES Classic Edition stocks. Their website reads: "We're sorry, the NES Classic Edition is now sold out." As for Toys R Us, they have indeed restocked the Nintendo NES Classic Edition. But in a blink, all stocks were yet again sold out.

Fans and fanatics are clamoring for more information in order to get their hands on the Nintendo NES Classic Edition. The hottest-selling console was released last Nov. 11, and within just mere minutes, the stocks ran out. Although the device is sold at $59.99, due to high demand, the birth sellers who are grabbing the opportunity to sell the console as high as $200 on Amazon suddenly rose.

With this, Nintendo is warning its buyers to watch out for scammers and scalpers who are taking advantage of desperate buyers online. But it is really unclear though when Nintendo will restock the Nintendo NES Classic Edition.

A recent report announced that Amazon will restock the Nintendo NES Classic Edition, stating: "NES Classic fans: we've got a couple exciting announcements to make in the coming week. Stay tuned for more info soon!

The report furthered that GameStop locations are also reportedly restocking Nintendo NES Classic Edition, as verified by the website nintendoeverything.com that announced on-hand stocks available since November 30.
