The 'PlayStation 4' Hits The Record Of 50 Million Units Sold; Sony Will Launch A New Christmas Promo Of The PS4 Slim Uncharted 4 Edition

Sony released a proof pertaining how the "PlayStation 4" successfully conquers the market with its sales. Sony claimed that they already sold 50 million units of "PS4" all over the world.

Mobile Indian covered the news about the said sales record, Sony was able to sell 50 million units of their latest video game console. The numbers provided is a combined stats of the "PlayStation 4" and the PS4 Pro, being sold in 122 countries worldwide.

The 50 units sold was recorded last December 6th, Tuesday. Sony confirmed that they are talking about "PlayStation 4" units being sold to the consumers, not the ones sold to the distributors and stores. Also, the sold units were said to include the latest PS4 Slim.

"PlayStation 4" was launched last 2013 as the 4th Generation of the PlayStation console by Sony. The console was a massive hit since its release due to its amazing features, graphics rendering and game titles. After 3 years in the market, Sony was able to release the 2 new versions, the smaller PS4 Slim and the more powerful "PlayStation 4" Pro, which were released in September and November respectively.

In other news, Tech Radar reported that Sony is also now boosting its sales even after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday Holiday Promo. The company is still selling a lot of units especially this Holiday Season.

Sony is about to launch a bundle promo of the PlayStation 4 Uncharted 4 Christmas Edition. This time, a massive price drop happen, cutting the price to $249.99 starting this coming December 11th. It was announced that the promo will end on Christmas Eve.

The Holiday Bundle includes a 500GB PS4, packed with a single Dual Shock Controller and a copy of the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The upcoming units are expected to hit the Best Buy, Gamestop and Target.
