The Complete List Of 2017 Movies Coming To Theaters This January Including Underworld, Resident Evil, & Return Of Xander Cage

January 2017 is one of the best month for moviegoers especially with the release of new films and sequels. For starters, “Frat Star” will hit the theaters on Jan. 3. A comedy film about Ivy League fraternity culture that focuses on Nick(Connor Lawrence).

Kate Beckinsale is back as Selene in “Underworld: Blood Wars” who has to fight the attacks from Vampires and Lycans who betrayed her. She has to fight them off with only two people rallying with her; David (Theo James) and Thomas (Charles Dance). The new sequel from “Underworld” is set to hit the theaters on Jan. 6.

For horror and thriller fans, “Amityville: The Awakening” is the first gift they’ll receive in 2017. Belle (Bella Thorne) is a journalist who ambitiously does research on the Amityville house. Fans can see the film in big screen on Jan. 6.

“The Bronx Bull” is also another anticipated film, which will also be available on Jan. 6 along with “Railroad Tigers.” Jan. 13, 2017 is also a full-packed day for moviegoers as “The Book of Love,” “Monster Trucks,” and "Bad Kids of Crestview Academy” will also be available.

“Claire in Motion” will also be released on Jan. 13 which is about a widower who had uncovered secrets about his husband who just recently died. Also, “Sleepless” will also be available on the same day with Jamie Foxx as the lead actor. He’s a Las Vegas Police officer who’s up to saving his kidnapped son, Movie Fone reports.

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” is also set to hit the big screen on Jan. 27. Alice (Milla Jovovich) will have to return to The Hive in Raccoon City to face the Umbrella Corporation and to save the last human survivors, ComingSoon.Net reports.

“xXx: Return of Xander Cage” will also be in theaters on Jan. 20. Where Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) is left for dead. He secretly returns to action to face tougher assignments, IMDB reports.
