Jessica Biel Son News: Actress Spills Most Magical Moment of Son Silas

Motherhood is a wonderful gift, and it's not a surprise for new moms to share the delight of parenthood. However, actress Jessica Biel has been silent with her new experience since she gave birth to son Silas last April. The new mom seems to have a change of heart as she starts to open up details about her bundle of joy.

Biel made her first red carpet appearance after giving birth in Santa Monica to celebrate Bare collections, the eco-accessories line she helped launch with her brother Justine Biel and designer Grason Ratowsky two years ago. The new mom donned on a black embroidered top and blue culottes with her hair up in a bun.

During the fashion event, Biel had her first post-baby interview with E! News, where she was asked the most magical thing about motherhood. She repeated the question and thought about an answer for a second and eventully said, "Probably the moment he wakes up from a nap."

The new mom further explained: "He's sort of looking around and you sort of creep up and look over the crib and he looks up and he goes [Biel lets out a big sighing sound]. Just a gummy mouth, no teeth, just a big smile, happy that you're alive and you're just looking at him. That's probably the most magical."

Biel has admitted that at those moments she tends to be emotional, but the magic suddenly goes away because "you quickly move on from it because there is a dirty diaper in your palm." Despite being part of Bare, the company doesn't offer a diaper bag, amidst Jessica's request. Justin revealed the reason with a laugh, "Grason said no."

In a separate report from E! News, the first-time-mom revealed that her music superstar husband Justin Timberlake prefers to leave work at the office. However, it was her who sings baby Silas' favorite song. "I sing to the baby, poor thing. I do a lot of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.'" When asked if she hits the notes of the song, Biel joked, "Sometimes. Depending on what time in the morning it is."

Biel and Timberlake are the recipients of the Inspiration Award from GLESN in October at the Respect Awards. The event recognizes people and organizations who have had an impact on LGBT youth.  The couple "are two vocal and committed allies to the LGBT community who are also devoted to charitable works that improve the lives of youth," GLSEN's executive director Dr. Eliza Byard told People in a statement. "[They] have consistently been visible and committed allies."

Among past honorees are Julia Roberts and husband Danny Moder, Jim Parsons and boyfriend Todd Spiewak, and Bob Greenblatt to name a few.
