Official Trailer For 'The Emoji Movie' Is Out; Talking Poo, Ice Cream, Meh, And Cookie Emoji Featured In First Teaser Video

The first teaser trailer for "The Emoji Movie" has just been released and it features the favorite emojis that people use. The Meh emoji, the poo emoji, the cookie and the ice cream emojis, were all seen in the teaser trailer.

Sony Pictures is the producer of "The Emoji Movie" and despite many people arguing that the movie should not have been given the green light in the first place, the Meh emoji convinced viewers that spending money for the flick will be great. The Meh emoji is being voiced by comedian Steven Wright and he announced the upcoming flick with his not-so-enthusiastic character. The character said in the teaser trailer, "It's my pleasure to announce our first movie. Yey! It's almost too thrilling for words. So bring the family. It doesn't have to be your family," Cinema Blend reported.

The next scene in "The Emoji Movie" teaser trailer then shows the Ice Cream emoji complaining about how hot it is in his box. He said that he is an ice cream and the heat is melting him. The Cookie emoji was seen in between the Ice Cream emoji and the Poo emoji. Despite the Poo emoji being what it actually is, the voice of the character is actually a classy and British man. The Poo emoji was even seen wearing a bow tie as he was talking to the Ice Cream emoji's rants in "The Emoji Movie" teaser trailer.

The Verge also reported that the trailer was presented like it was also on a phone. The plot of the movie is said to be focusing on the characters going on an adventure through a teenager's phone. Spotify and Candy Crush, which are product placings, will also be shown in "The Emoji Movie." The lead character is Gene, played by T.J. Miller, who does not have a permanent facial expression. He and his best friend, Hi-5, and this codebreaking character named Jailbreak, the trio will try to find the code in order to fix him.

"The Emoji Movie" will be out by August 2017 alongside "Smurfs: The Lost Village." Will you be watching "The Emoji Movie?" Let us know what you think below!
