ASUS Unannounced Model Leaked; Runs On ChromeOS? [DETAILS HERE]

Looks like the cat's out of the bag for ASUS after details of their latest Chromebook leaked on the internet, along with full specs and OS hardware details. The listing for the Chromebook has already been removed.

According to The Verge, the listing for the previously unannounced ASUS Chromebook, the ASUS C302CA, went up for a short moment in Newegg, an online gadget and computers retail company. The leak consisted of details like screen size, processor power, and other unique features.

The leaked ASUS Chromebook, BGR details, has a 12.5-inch screen size with 1080p resolution and a touchscreen function. It also has a thin aluminum chassis to make it lightweight. The screen can also be flipped over, turning the laptop into a tablet.

The leaked ASUS Chromebook will run on an intel M3 processor and might come with either 4 GB or 8GB RAM. if will also have 64GB internal storage, 2 USB type-C ports, and a microSD slot. the device will also come with a price tag of $500, according to the leaked listing.

The listing of the leaked ASUS Chrome also details that it will be fitted with a ChromeOS, an operating system developed by Google using the Linux kernel. the OS has an integrated media player and file manager, as well as supports Chrome Applications. A number of Android apps have also been made available for the Chrome OS.
