Get More Of Cameron Dallas In ‘Chasing Cameron’ Documentary, Pilot Episode Gets Bad Reviews?

Social media is a great platform to achieve fame nowadays and one living proof of that is the Internet sensation, Cameron Dallas. Netflix acknowledges the popularity of this 22-year old lad from California with the recent premiere of a documentary slash reality show, "Chasing Cameron."This new TV show that premiered on December 27, 2016, aims to follow the daily life of the internet personality along with friends Aaron Carpenter and Taylor Caniff.

Cameron Dallas rose to fame by posting funny videos online and gained more than a million followers on Twitter, Instagram, and Vine. Aside from his new show on Netflix, Dallas also appeared in the movies, "Expelled" and "The Outfield."

According to a post from E Online, "Chasing Cameron" is actually a dream come true for Dallas who considered it a goal to have a Netflix show. In an interview, Dallas also said that he hopes the show will be a way for him to educate people on the impact and significance of social media.

Each of the ten 30-minute episode will follow Cameron and his friends as they go through their Magcon Tour. Aside from answering viewer's demand to see more of Cameron, the docu-series also seeks to present the pros and cons of being a famous online personality. Other stars in the show are Willie Jones, Trey Schafer, and Blake Gray.

However, this early "Chasing Cameron" may not receive the same popularity as his online videos since reviews of the premiere episode are not looking so good. A rating in Rotten Tomatoes is not so impressive with just 62 percent rating. One comment even feels that the documentary is nothing more but a promotional campaign for Cameron Dallas and his gang.
