Have You Seen ‘The Shallows’ Movie Featuring Blake Lively? If No, Then You Are Missing A Lot

The year 2016 has been a year filled with great moments in the film and TV industry of Hollywood. How would you fare if ever you are to sum up your year based on the quality shows you have watched? Well, one thing is for sure, if you miss seeing the suspense-thriller movie, "The Shallows" starring Blake Lively that came out last June, then your movie viewing experience does not deserve a perfect score.

The plot follows the main character, Nancy Adams (Blake Lively), a medical student who found it necessary to have a getaway on a remote and secret island to cope with the death of her mother. The supposedly quiet vacation turned into a living nightmare when while surfing, Nancy encountered a large white shark and she was plunged into a quest of saving her life from the sea monster.

An article that appeared in The Iris views the film as very entertaining from start to end. The post likewise said that compared to the Steven Spielberg classic film "Jaws," the Blake Lively starrer can pass up as the second best movie about the dangers of the sea. This alone, makes the film a must-see movie.

Meanwhile, a movie review in Variety points out some flaws in the movie which is mostly about bad editing and mediocre musical scoring which could have heightened some of the best scenes in the movie. Still, the film shows Blake Lively as an effective female heroine.

The director of "The Shallows" is Jaume Collet-Serra while the writer is Anthony Jaswinski. Aside from Lively, other cast members include óscar Jaenada, Sedona Legge, Brett Cullen and Angelo José Lozano Corzo. If you are yet to see "The Shallows" then you still have a day left to get a copy and enjoy this quality film before the year ends.
