Todd Fisher Planning A Large Joint Memorial Service For Debbie Reynolds And Carrie Fisher Where The Public Can Visit Too

The entertainment industry continues to grieve as another pillar in the industry has met her demise this week. "Singin' in the Rain" Debbie Reynolds, mother of "Star Wars" Carrie Fisher, has passed away just a day following her daughter's death. Updates on the funeral reveal a large joint memorial service so fans can visit too.

On Dec. 28, Debbie was reportedly at her son Todd's home in Beverly Hills and they were discussing the funeral plans for Carrie. Suddenly, Debbie suffered stroke and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital, but unfortunately breathed her last too, the Hollywood Life reported.

An update was posted by New York Daily News saying the family of Debbie and Carrie are now planning to hold a joint memorial service for the two beloved deceased family members. The plan is to welcome the public too.

Todd Fisher said they prefer to do a joint memorial service and are just trying to figure things on how to proceed with the joint service. Todd believes it is appropriate to do one memorial service for Debbie and Carrie and he is just trying to look for a possible venue.

Furthermore, the publication mentioned that the family is considering to hold a larger memorial service for the public. They are considering the fans of Debbie and Carrie would also want to bid their last respect by visiting their wake. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery in L.A. is one of the options being considered for the public memorial service as Todd was seen in that cemetery on Thursday.

Heaps of tributes floated on various social media platforms for Debbie and Carrie. Todd took to his Twitter account a drawing depicting the two iconic characters of Debbie and Carrie and captioned it as "Love is everlasting." Todd further described the relationship of her mother and sister as a "beautiful love story."

Bruce Bozzi, step-father of Billie Lourd, Carrie's only child, also shared a heart-warming message expressing how honored he is to become a part of the Lourd's family. On his official Instagram account, Bozzi posted a photo of Billie with Debbie and Carrie which was taken during the former's graduation. Bozzi reminisced the great memories they had during that graduation and gave his kind words to honor Debbie and Carrie.
