‘Scorpion’ Season 3 Episode 12 Trailer Reveals Killing Cabe Will Save His Life; Will Team Scorpion Proceed With This Plan?

Spoilers for "Scorpion" season 3 episode 12 reveal Cabe's life will be in danger and the team needs to do a critical method of killing him as a way to save his life. Will the team proceed with the plan?

According to the synopsis released by CBS (via SpoilersGuide), episode 12 of "Scorpion" season 3 titled "Ice Ca-Cabes" will feature how Team Scorpion will try to save Cabe's life. The episode description details that the team will have a mission in the dessert. Unfortunately, the mission will accidentally lead to an exploding shrapnel and Cabe will be seriously wounded.

Things get more intense as the synopsis also mentioned that the team is forced to do an unorthodox way of saving lives. Team Scorpion will need to freeze the body of Cabe as this is the solution they know to save his life.

The publication has also posted the official trailer for the upcoming episode which teases that it requires killing Cabe as a way to save him. The clip details that the team needs to stop Cabe's heart from beating in order for him to survive. Freezing Cabe's body will be the team's method to stop his heartbeat, which points to the meaning of the episode's title.

Furthermore, the promo clip reveals Paige (Katharine McPhee) was hesitant to proceed with the plan to freeze Cabe's body. Fans can see Paige asking Sylvester (Ari Stidham) of the consequences should their plan fails. Sadly, Sylvester said Cabe might die if the plan will not work.

Meanwhile, another report discussed about the other arc of the upcoming episode which is how the series progresses without Tim Armstrong. According to Cartermatt, the next episode features how the team will transition from the departure of Tim into where the show is headed to.

The report noted the statement of Walter O'Brien when he said that every member of the team holds the same level of value with Tim. Walter mentioned this after Sylvester emphasized how valuable Tim is with Team Scorpion.

In addition, the publication stressed that fans of "Scorpion" are favoring more of the Walter/Paige love team than that of Tim/Paige. The discussions of the fans in the online community can prove that they prefer Paige to end up with Walter.
