The First Impression Rose Goes To A Black Woman For The First Time On 'The Bachelor'; Things To Know About Rachel Lindsay

"The Bachelor" premiere was groundbreaking as the First Impression rose was given to a black woman, which was a first time to happen on the popular reality dating show. That woman was identified as Attorney Rachel Lindsay.

The premiere of the latest season of "The Bachelor" was on Jan. 2 and she was able to intrigue the bachelor, Nick Viall, with her intelligence. Below are the four things that "The Bachelor" viewers were able to know about Lindsay.

She is 31 years old. The girl wearing a red dress and matching lipstick is just five years younger than Viall. The two chatted for two minutes and Viall was blown away by her intellectual capability.

She is a lawyer. Lindsay is a graduate of Marquette University Law School and has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Sports Management from the University of Texas. She passed the bar the first time she took it but noted on her profile that the downside of her achievements is that she focuses too much on her career. She pointed out that focusing too much on her goal made her miss out on love, Hollywood Life reported.

She might make it until the top 4 of "The Bachelor." Being the first ever black contestant to get the First Impression rose both on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," many fans believe that Viall and Lindsay will be breaking boundaries. In the past seasons of the show, no black contestant got through week five but in the sneak peek for the rest of the season, Viall was seen with Lindsay in Finland. TV Guide reported that Finland is the country where the final rose ceremony will be taking place so it is possible that she will be part of the top four of even the top two ladies competing for Viall's heart.

She adores Michelle Obama. When asked about who she would want to be given the chance, she said that she wants to be the First lady. She referred to Obama as "everything."

Do you think she will be getting the final rose on "The Bachelor" Season 21? The show airs Mondays on ABC.
