Ben Affleck Returns To Family Home After Rehab Stint Announcement, Spotted With Estranged Wife Jennifer Garner

Following the announcement that Ben Affleck has completed a rehab stint for his alcohol abuse, the "Batman V Superman" star reportedly returned to their family home. Paparazzi also photographed Affleck's estranged wife Jennifer Garner accompanying the actor after the news broke about his rehabilitation completion.

Affleck took their five-year-old son, Samuel, to school with Garner on Wednesday in Los Angeles. An insider said Affleck is happy and thrilled to be back with his kids as they mean the world to him. The insider added, "He has a great support system around him. Really nice to see his friends and family gather for him - the industry too. This was his decision to be proactive to live a healthy life. He's been very moved by the outpouring of support."

In his post, Affleck said the support he got from Garner and their close family and friends helped him get through the rehab stint. The insider continued to reveal Affleck is back to his usual routine, which is dropping off the kids at school then picking them up after. He added the rehab stint was for his kids because he wanted to live life to the fullest and be the best father to his children. He also wanted his kids to understand there is no shame in getting help if one needs it, People reported.

More on being back in the family home, Affleck returned a day after the revelation. He lived in the family compound even after they announced their divorce.

The rehabilitation stint announcement came after reports surfaced claiming Affleck and Garner postponed their divorce to work on their relationship. Some sources close to the couple said the stories are not true while others said they decided to give their relationship a second chance, Elite Daily shared.

Reports also surfaced claiming the rehab stint of Affleck was a move by the actor to win Garner's heart back. The former couple has yet to comment on the issue.
