'X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer Release Date: Out In October Along With Ridley Scott's 'The Martian' [Details Here]

The first footage of "X-Men: Apocalypse" was unveiled during the San Diego Comic-Con. However, those who missed the grand gathering have been looking forward to have a glimpse of the anticipated flick.

Here's a good news according to Heroic Hollywood: the long awaited trailer might be released next month along with Ridley Scott's upcoming movie. Yes, the report claims that multiple sources confirmed that the first trailer of the film will be attached to the screening of Ridley's "The Martian" starring Matt Damon which will premiere on Oct. 2..

The report suggests that the trailer will likely be released online first. However, with the said date fast approaching, fans will see something official from the movie soon.

According to CinemaBlend, there has been a good amount of speculation regarding the anticipated trailer and although the recent report about the footage has to be taken with a grain of salt, it's the first report that leaks about the film's trailer. Perhaps, we can give the source the benefit of the doubt.

On the other hand, there is a rising anticipation for Scott's science fiction film since its premiere at Toronto Film Festival. Thus, it would be a perfect opportunity for Fox to drop the footage for Bryan Singer's superhero flick.

The upcoming franchise will flash forward from the 70s timeline in "Days of Future Past" to 80s. Singer previously announced that the new film will feature the genesis of the mutant superheroes. "[X-Men: Apocalypse] is about how the X-Men truly started," Singer said. The film sets out 20-years earlier than the first film in the franchise, MoviePilot reports.

The given timeline explains the introduction of younger characters like Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops to name a few, which will be portrayed by Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan respectively. Some of the classic members will also be returning like James McAvoy's Proffesor X, Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, Nicholas Hoult's Beast, Michael Fassbender's Magneto and everyone's favorite Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

CinemaBlend claims that the new mutants in action are among what fans are looking forward to witness. According to ScreenRant, one of the new mutants making their debuts in "Apocalypse" is Psylocke. Olivia Munn, just recently uploaded a short footage on her Instagram featuring the fighting skills she acquired in playing the mutant superheroine Psylocke.

With that skill, it's pretty sure that Munn will be giving a good fight in the superhero action flick. Moreover, there is a great expectation from the critically-acclaimed actor Oscar Isaac, who will be playing the titular villain. We will get a glimpse of all of these when the official trailer is out.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will hit the big screens on May 27, 2016.
