One of the world's youngest billionaires, Mark Zuckerberg, recently announced that a third baby is on the way. He made the big news on Facebook and Instagram on Wednesday, per Today. He captioned the posts, "Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!"

In the photo, Zuckerberg widely smiles as he places his hand on the stomach of his wife, Priscilla Chan. The father of two and about to be a dad for the third time is the co-founder and chief executive officer of META, which he initially launched as Facebook in 2004.

Zuckerberg and Chan, a former pediatrician, are college sweethearts and have been married since 2012 in the backyard of their home in Palo Alto, California. The wedding day was a day after Facebook's initial public offering. Facebook changed its corporate name to META in 2021.

The internet entrepreneur created "Sleep Box" for his tired wife

The couple acknowledged ten years of marriage in May with an Instagram photo that read, "10 years married and half our lives together. Here's to more adventures."

The entrepreneur shared a parenting tool he made for his tired wife in 2019. It is called a "Sleep Box" or a wooden cube that emits a soft light between 6 and 7 a.m. The light is visible enough and serves as a sign that one of the couples should get up and get the kids, and faint enough that the light won't wake up his wife if she's still having some rest.

The tech entrepreneur said that being a mother is hard, and since the long-term couple had kids, Priscilla has had difficulty sleeping through the night. He added that she'd wake up and check the time on her phone to see if the two kids might wake up soon, but knowing the time would stress her out, and she couldn't fall back asleep.

"Sleep Box" serves as a gift and representation of Zuckerberg's love and gratitude to his wife.

The married couple already shares two daughters - Maxima, 6, born in December 2015, and August, 5, born in August 2017, Daily Mail reported.

Pregnancy announcement amidst report that he had lost billions of dollars

Zuckerberg is one of the world's wealthiest people, but apparently, his net worth has taken a beating this year and plummeted by $71 billion. Although he started 2022 with a $125 billion fortune, it immediately went down by approximately 55 percent after Facebook's rebrand to Meta and the company's first-ever drop in user numbers this year. As of now, he is currently the 20th richest person in the world, his lowest spot since 2014, and behind three Waltons and two members of the Koch family.

The 38-year-old entrepreneur's worth is $106 billion less than two years ago, but he remains among an elite group of global billionaires. His wealth peaked at $142 billion in September 2021, when the company's share reached as high as $382.

Zuckerberg introduced Meta and changed the company's name from Facebook Inc. the following month. Since then, the company has struggled to find its footing in the tech universe, per Bloomberg.
