'Super Smash Bros 4' DLC Leak: Four New Characters Named, New Stages On The Way? [Rumors]

Recently, reports and rumors of possible characters added into “Super Smash Bros. 4” have been circulating. However, nothing is confirmed yet.

According to Vine Report, Nintendo has not announced any confirmations regarding the rumors that have been moving around saying that certain characters will be included in the highly-successful game. Fans have been on constant alert for any update regarding the characters that might possibly be included, yet to no avail.

So far, what is known is that there will be new characters and new stages coming in addition to the game via the highly-anticipated patch. According to Christian Today, at least three new characters will be added into the game.

Nintendo Everything reports that fans, after mining code data in the hopes of finding conclusive information, weren't that shocked with what they found, but were interested with some discoveries.

First, there appears to have three vacant character slots ( with placeholders coded “mario”) in the patch. Rumors have been going around saying who these personas might be.

Rumblings regarding the Shovel Knight's inclusion have been going about, with some reports giving screenshots of the Yacht Club's character having his own Amiibo figure found in a Nintendo website.

Isaac, from the Game Boy Advance console game 'Golden Sun' was also rumored to come, alongside Wolf O'Donnell from the 'Star Fox' game series, according to Master Herald.

According to Gamnesia, Inklings from the game 'Splatoon' are likely to be included in Smash Bros. In their own shooting game, the Inklings have the ability to transform into a squid, a kid, and back. They also have different gear and weapons that enhance their fighting abilities.

Second, six vacant stage slots (with placeholders coded “tikibuzz”) have been found, split between the standard and omega versions of the game. Given their placement, two of these slots seem to be for the Pirate Ship, although currently it still is unconfirmed. What is known is that there could be two or three additional stages in the game.

Although the findings are taken from the latest patch update for Smash Bros 4 itself, fans are warned to not let their hopes up, as game company Nintendo hasn't released any confirmation yet.

Super Smash Bros 4 is a Nintendo brawler game that is available for both Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U. It can be digitally downloaded from the Nintendo website, or physically purchased from authorized game retailers.
