Famous Singer Celine Dion And Husband With Terminal Cancer: Have They Spent Their Last Christmas Together?

Canadian singer and songwriter Celine Dion and husband René Angélil spent the holidays together with their family. Reports about the worsening condition of Angélil's health have many concerned that the couple might have spent their last Christmas together.

Dion immediately started to focus on taking care of her dying husband after she finished her Christmas season performances. Celeb Dirty Laundry also reports that the singer is devastated by Angélil's condition and is afraid that he will lose his life very soon.

The Canadian singer and manager Angélil was first diagnosed with throat cancer back in 1998. He underwent surgery and responded well to the medical treatment, but the disease came back years after and was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2014. Angélil also suffered a cardiac arrest in 1992 and had undergone surgery to remove blockage from his arteries.

Dion surprised her fans during a Las Vegas performance in 2015 when she talked about the severe condition of her husband, "René says to me, 'I want to die in your arms.'" Céline told the emotional audience that she responded to her husband by saying, "OK, fine, I'll be there, you'll die in my arms."

Dion, 47, and Angélil, 73, first met in 1980 when she was just 12 and Angélil was 38 but their romantic relationship started 1987 and the two became engaged in 1991. They were married on December 1994 and have stayed at each other's side throughout Angélil's battle with throat cancer. The married couple has three children, René-Charles, 14, and five-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson.

Star Pulse reports that the whole family expressed their love and full support for the couple. Although they might have spent their last Christmas and New Year together, Celine Dion and husband René Angélil are definitely making the most out of their remaining time together.
