Your Dog Loves You Just As Much As You Love Him; Here Are 9 Ways Your Dog Says "I Love You"

Dogs are considered members of the family. And as a member of the family, you love him and show it by taking care of them and being with him all the time. But does your dog love you, too? Definitely, your dog loves you just as much as you love him.

Little Things and Mom.me share the following five ways on how your dog says the sweetest words," I love you" to you:

1.      Stay loyal to you.

It's true -- you can always count on your dog. This is because dogs are the most loyal creatures on the planet. They also know that they are a part of the family that makes them so loyal to everybody in the family.

2.       Look directly into your eyes.

Brian Hare, a well-known dog expert, said that a dog hugs you with his eyes when the dog stares directly into your eyes.

3.       Lean on you.

Sometimes you will see your dog leaning on you -- showing your affection. Some dogs also lean because they are nervous yet they still think that they are safe with their parents.

4.       Calm when you leave.

When a dog doesn't panic when you leave, it means that your dog loves and trusts you that you will return.

5.       Greet you when you come home.

One unique way your dog shows his love for you is when he greets and wags his tail when you come home. He also jumps all over the place.

6.       Yawn when he sees you yawn.

A study reveals that when humans yawn, another one yawn, too. This may be true to the dogs, too -- giving you a sign that they're sympathetic. Likewise, it is said that dog yawns when his parent yawns, a great way to know that such strong bonding with his parent exists.

7.       Cuddle you after eating.

According to Gregory Berns, the author of "How Dogs Love Us", once a dog is finished eating, his next action symbolizes what's the most significant to him besides his food. When a dog cuddles you after eating his meal, then this is a strong sign that your dog loves you.

8.       Sleep in your room.

One sign that your dog loves you is when he wants to sleep in your bed. According to Berns, this is a good test of his loyalty because he doesn't like to be separated from you.

9.       Bring you his favorite toy.

Your dog loves you when he shares his favorite toy. It doesn't mean he wants to play with you rather he just wants to offer his finest possession. It's just like "sharing is caring."

Dogs can sense if you love them. The question is, "Do you love your dog?" If you love your dog, he will love you in return. Enjoy his love and you'll never regret every moment with him.
