Gennifer Flowers Claims Clinton was the 'Love of Her Life'

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton would still be in a relationship with Gennifer Flowers but for daughter Chelsea, the infamous ex-mistress claimed.

Asserting that Clinton was the "love her life," Flower revealed to MailOnline that he called her in 2005 asking her to meet. "He called me back in 2005 in New Orleans. He wanted to put on the hoodie and jog on over like he used to... He was so adamant about wanting to sit down and talk to me in person," she said adding that she regretted her decision not to meet him.

Flowers is famously known as the high-profile mistress of former President Clinton. She attracted controversy after claiming that Clinton was involved in a 12-year relationship with her in the 80s and 90s.

However, Clinton denied the claims initially but six years later admitted that he was  involved with the former model and cabaret dancer. In his 2004 autobiography 'My Life,' he confessed to  having sexual relation with her only once in 1977.

"We have some unresolved issues that it would be nice to sit down and talk about now. He was the love of my life and I was the love of his life and you don't get over those things," Fowler told  MailOnline in an interview.

She further claimed that they both would be together had his daughter Chelsea not been born. "It was me, Bill and Hillary. Then they had Chelsea and the stakes got too high."

During the interview she revealed that Hilary Clinton was a bisexual and her rumored affair with married female adviser Huma Abedin did not surprise her. "I just know what Bill told me and that was that he was aware Hillary was bisexual and he didn't care. He should know."

In her 1992 book 'Passion and Betrayal,' Flowers mentioned  her sexual encounters with Clinton. The same year December, she posed in the nude for the 'Penthouse' magazine and divulged all information about their scandalous affair. She reportedly earned around $1 million after featuring in the magazine.

Now divorced, Flowers said the breaking off the long relationship with Clinton still hurt her. "I'm still affected by it, the Clintons in some way every day and every day something happens that sparks a memory. It was a defining moment in American culture absolutely and to an extent I paid a high price for my honesty," she told MailOnline.

Clinton has made news for several such affairs. In 1998, his infamous affair with 22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky caught nationwide attention.
