Shanola Hampton and Husband Daren Dukes Pregnant With First Child

Shanola Hampton is pregnant with her first child with husband Daren Dukes.

The 'Shameless' star told People magazine that she is expecting a baby girl in late January.  "We are beyond excited to expand our family and begin this new chapter," she said. "Words can't describe the joy our hearts feel."

The 36-year-old actress is known for her roles in TV shows such as 'Reba,' 'Scrubs,' and 'Popular.' She was also seen in the movies 'You Again' and 'The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green.'

The couple has been married for 13 years and lives in Los Angeles. Dukes is a creator and producer of 'The Dallas Cowboy Show.'

In 2010, Shanola was cast as a series regular on the Showtime series 'Shameless' as Veronica Fisher. She received critical acclaim for the role. She remained a part of the main cast of the second season of 'Shameless' that was premiered Jan. 8,  2012.

The fourth season of 'Shameless' will premiere on Jan 12, 2014,  on Showtime.

 It seems show business actresses are busy welcoming the pitter patter of tiny feet this year. Halle Barry, the 'Monster's ball' actress is pregnant at 47 with her second child. Gwen Stefani , the singer, 43 is expecting her third child and Thandi Newton announced her third pregnancy recently at age 40.
