Ivanka Trump ‘Superstitious’ about Revealing Baby’s Gender

Pregnant Ivanka Trump is "superstitious" when it comes to sharing the sex of her unborn baby.

In an interview to Fit Pregnancy magazine, the 31-year-old heiress and businesswoman said that she would like to keep the baby's gender a secret. "I'm superstitious," she told the magazine, according to the PEOPLE magazine "I don't like to tell people, but I don't have the discipline to keep it a surprise. There are so many variables in motherhood that, those I can control, I like to."

Ivanka is due in October and is already mother to almost two-year-old Arabella. In recent interview to Us Weekly, Ivanka said that she would become a strict mother. "Arabella isn't even 2, so she hasn't thrown me the challenges of a teenager . . . but I have a feeling I'm going to be pretty strict. My mother laid down pretty concrete guidelines and the concept of 'because I said so' was a totally viable option. The one thing I won't tolerate is her being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners. That's one area (in which) I'll be very strict."

However, she said that she is preparing Arabella to welcome her younger sibling. "We're navigating the sharing thing right now - I think we're, like, 70 percent of the way there. She's really good at telling me I have to share with her. She's less good about actually sharing back. She offers to share and then when you get close, she pulls it back and says 'no'. Particularly when food's involved," she said.

She also discussed  her maturing relationship with her parents, Donald and Ivana Trump, with the Fit Pregnancy magazine.  "I appreciate all that they did for us even more. I appreciate the exhaustion, the decisions," she said.
