Chelsea Clinton Wants to Get Pregnant in 2014

Hillary Clinton wants to badly become a grandmother by next year, according to People.

"She asks us about it every single day," her daughter, Chelsea, reveals in a new interview with Glamour.  While her rumored run for president will have to wait till 2016, Hillary may get to be a grandma as soon as next year.

Chelsea, 33, admits that having a baby with her husband of three years, Marc Mezvinsky, has been uppermost in her mind ever since her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Rodham, died at the end of 2011.

"I've never been so lost as I was when she passed," the former first daughter admits. But it pushed her and her husband to sit down and talk about their plans for the future.  "The first thing on the list was simple: We want, God willing, to start a family. So we decided to make 2014 the Year of the Baby," Chelsea says. "And please call my mother and tell her that."

Also on the to-do list? "Work really, really hard, and in a way that makes an impact." Leaving a job on Wall Street, Chelsea completed a master of public health degree in 2010 and now works with her father, former President Bill Clinton, and her mom on the family's charitable foundation.

She recently accompanied her dad on a trip to Africa where they visited 20 facilities in four countries that work to provide clean water, improve farming techniques and offer entrepreneurial training.

"My grandmother was determined that everyone feel a sense of optimism and opportunity," Chelsea says. "Marc and I want to make sure we're doing that. This period in our lives is not just a tribute to her, it's inspired by her. And it's for when we have our own children - I want to help make sure we've got a world I want them to live in."
