‘Married at First Sight’ Season 3 Updates: Sam ‘Heartbroken and Embarrassed’ but Still Hopeful of Her Future with Neil

"Married at First Sight" Season 3 recently aired its reunion special episode titled "Six Months Later," which showed what happened to the three couples - Sam and Neil, Vanessa and Tres, and Ashley and David - after the cameras stopped rolling. In a recent interview, Sam shared that she felt "heartbroken and embarrassed" after being rejected on the FYI reality series.

"Married at First Sight" Season 3 reunion special was probably more dramatic than the finale episode of the show. Two couples - Ashley and David, and Sam and Neil - chose to end their marriage after the six-week experiment and only one couple, Vanessa and Tres, chose to keep their relationship going beyond the show.

However, in the recently released episode of "MAFS" Season 3, the couples admitted that things changed a lot for them after six months. Vanessa and Tres, who have always been the fan-favorite couple in the show, revealed that they are no longer together, MailOnline reported.

"Me and Tres, we are not together anymore," Vanessa said. "Things just fell apart. We stopped being physically intimate."

Ashley and David, on the other hand, maintained that nothing changed between them after "Married at First Sight." David also explained himself after his old police report made rounds on the internet.

As for Sam and Neil, many "Married at First Sight" Season 3 fans and viewers had high hopes that these two will get back together. Most fans noted that Sam and Neil seemed to stay friendly on social media even after the show came to an end.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Sam shared that she was hurt when she heard of Neil's decision to divorce her after "Married at First Sight."

"I felt pretty heartbroken and embarrassed. The way he asked for a divorce was kind of misleading," she said.

Sam, however, admitted that she still hopes that there is still room for her and Neil to grow and work on their relationship in the future.
