It's important to stay healthy, safe and maintain a good hygiene despite being a trip. People often take health, safety and hygiene for granted. Eating take outs instead of healthy foods, forgetting to do hygienic routines because some of the products they use don’t offer small sized bottles so people tend to leave it behind. Here are some tips to help you on travelling.


1. Keep your toothbrush dry always

It is important to dry your toothbrush before packing for a trip so that it won’t breed bacteria. An ideal position would be standing your brush upright in a cup so that it will allow the water to drain away from the bristles.

2. Make waterproof straw containers for products which doesn’t have travel sizes
People tend to skip their daily hygiene routine due to the lack of travel sized products. A tip is to transfer a small amount of the product to a D-I-Y straw container. This way it will be lighter and more convenient for the traveler.

3. Always use mosquito repellant lotion
If you’re a mom, you understand the struggle of keeping flies or mosquitos away from your kids. Zika Virus, malaria and dengue are common nowadays and if bitten leads to serious diseases. By using insect repellant lotion, you don’t have to worry about your child getting bitten anymore.

4. Watch what you eat or drink
Travelers often eat cheap meals in order to save some money. Eating cheap food is not a problem as long as you make sure what you’re consuming is clean. Treating sickness from food poisoning is more expensive than decent food.

5. First Aid Kits
Always bring a first aid kit for safety and emergency situations, you never know when u might get wounded or sick. It is best to include medicines, adhesive bandages, gauze, thermometer, betadine and a power bar.

6. Always make sure you’ve been vaccinated
Always make sure your Hepatitis A, B or booster shots are complete. It is important to take the shots so you would be immune from the viruses contaminating ng the air or water.
