1.  Salmon

Fishes that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids can keep your hair and scalp hydrated. They can make your hair shiny too. These fishes include salmon, sardines, mackerel, trout and herring.

Egg yolk is rich in biotin that can make your hair strong. It is a water-soluble B vitamin. If you have less biotin in your body your hair will become brittle. It will also lead to hair loss. Other foods that are rich in biotin are whole grains, soy flour, liver and yeast.

3.   Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt promotes hair growth. It contains an ingredient which is called pantothenic acid or vitamin B5 that makes the blood flow to your scalp.

Protein can make your hair grow. If you lack protein in your body you will suffer from hair loss. Foods that are rich in protein are chicken and turkey.

5.  Sweet Potato

If you lack in vitamin A your hair will become dry and dull. To increase intake of vitamin A you consume sweet potato which has an antioxidant that is called beta carotene. It also produces an oily fluid called sebum in your scalp.

6.  Oysters

Oysters are a great source of zinc which prevents hair loss. Zinc makes the cells build your hair. Other foods that are rich in zinc are a crab, beef, fortified cereal and lobster.

7. Guava

Guava is rich in vitamin C. A cup of guava contains 377 milligrams of vitamin C which protect your hair from breaking.
