Jessica Alba On Parenting: How To Handle Mom Guilt The Jessica Way

Jessica Alba is one supermom. She has the ability to balance motherhood, acting, business and being a wife. Although it seems that she has no difficulty in performing all these roles, she admits that at times it can be a bit hard, especially when the dreary mom guilt comes knocking at the door.

According to People, the co-founder of The Honest Company, is one busy mom who also had to deal with some parenting issues, and mom guilt is always one of them. However, Alba, who enjoys parenting her 2 kids Honor, 7, and Haven, 4, said that busy women must not let the stealthy mom guilt get the best of them.

Alba said, "Don't get overwhelmed trying to do everything at once." She also added, "Lay out what you can get done now and what will take longer."

She advised busy mothers not to be too hard on themselves. According to the 34-year-old mom, if you're a busy mother, what's important is that you have to be present wherever you may be. She also mentioned that moms should make an effort to stay active and to relax even for just once in a week.

Today reported that as a businesswoman, Jessica Alba's advice was enclosed in three words, "Don't give up." She said that rejection is certainly a part of the whole business process. She had also thought of giving up when her initial pitch was rejected but she had to be patient. She said, "If I believe in something, one 'yes' is worth a million no's."
