Kate Middleton Refused Prince William's Tasty Treat During India Tour; Where Did The Abhorrence Come From?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are on the second day of their India Tour. While Prince William enjoyed his freshly made dosa -- a traditional Asian pancake -- his wife didn't share the same enthusiasm. Princess Kate waved off his offer and didn't bother to taste it. Doesn't the Duchess of Cambridge like Indian food?

Kate Middleton didn't bother explaining why she didn't taste even a bit of the morsel offered to her. People reported that a machine that makes dosas was being showed to Prince William and Princess Kate.

Prince William tried out his hand at making his own dosa and was clearly satisfied with the result. He simply poured the batter, and the machine made the dosa automatically without any other form of human intervention.

While Prince William said it was tasty, it was clear that Princess Kate had no intention to take part of the dosa that her husband made. Some would have wanted Kate Middleton to savor the treat, but the Duke of Cambridge compensated for it with a huge satisfied smile.

According to Daily Mail, one speculation as to why the Duchess of Cambridge refused the dosa was her fear of ruining her £1,700 cream dress. Another possible explanation is that she is on a strict diet and doesn't want to pack on a lot of carbs.

The 24-year-old inventor of the machine, Eshwar Vikas, was simply very happy at having been given the opportunity to showcase his invention to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. He had nothing but praises for Prince William and Kate Middleton even though the latter didn't even take a bite of the dosa. Vikas is the CEO of Mukunda Foods, a fast-growing company in the heart of Mumbai.

There are still several days left for the 2016 India royal tour. For sure, Prince William and Princess Kate will be giving more surprises as they go around visiting India.
