'Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Director Neil Druckmann Calls For Vigilance: Sony, Police Collaborate On Stolen Copies Of PS4 Exclusive

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" director Neil Druckmann tried to protect the gaming experience of fans by advising vigilance against leaks on Naughty Dog's latest Playstation 4 exclusive. Excitement over "Uncharted 4" is mounting so much that enterprising thieves staged a heist to steal copies of the Playstation 4 exclusive.

Kotaku reports that copies of the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" game was being transported in the United Kingdom for the official release when they were stolen in transit, which are now being sold, as per Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida. These, in fact, contributed to the current confusion among retailers and gamers regarding the avaialbility of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."

The theft of these "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" copies is not the first time that theft of the same nature happened preceding an official game. However Sony is mostly concerned that fans, who are waiting for the May 10 official release of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," will not have their enjoyment spoiled.

"An extremely talented team has worked long and hard to bring Nathan Drake's greatest adventure to life," Shuhei Yoshida said. "And we would urge you to help us prevent this from being spoilt by purchasing copies of the game ahead of the launch date."

"Please rest assured we will be very vigilant to protect you from this as far as we can," Yoshida added, indicating that fans should remain calm. He further noted that this is to give gamers the full "Uncharted 4's experience to its fullest," once "Uncharted 4" hits shelves on May 10.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" director Neil Druckmann shares Shuhei Yoshida's sentiment over the Playstation 4 exclusive. According to Gamespot, Neil Druckmann reminded fans that spoilers and leaks on "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will be making the rounds the closer May 10 comes.

Similar to Shuhei Yoshida, Neil Druckmann urges fans toward vigilance against "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" leaks. As motivation, Neil Druckmann highlighted that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" hides within its chapters several surprises that are worth waiting for. This is not hard to imagine given that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will reveal more of Nathan Drake's mysterious past.
