Royal Birthday: Get a Glimpse of the Luxurious Gifts Princess Charlotte Received for Her First Birthday

Princess Charlotte turned 1 on Monday, May 2, 2016. Kate Middleton and Prince William's daughter received lavish gifts from other royalties which includes a gold rattle.

Princess Charlotte received luxurious gifts from people who adore her. Most of her gifts were from across the globe. Kate Middleton and Prince William were delighted and overwhelmed with the presents that their daughter got.

In an official statement released by the Kensington Palace, it was mentioned that the royal couple were grateful for the goodies that Princess Charlotte received. According to Telegraph, the princess has been receiving presents since she was born. 

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are incredibly grateful for all the letters, gifts and good wishes they have been fortunate to receive in the year since Princess Charlotte was born," the spokesperson cited. All throughout Princess Charlotte's 12 month journey, the Kensington place released a long list of luxurious items the princess received.

Part of Princess Charlotte's gift was a silver rattle given by Enrique Pena, who is the President of Mexico. Pena gave Princess Charlotte the silver rattle along with his wife during their UK state visit.

Adie from the President of Mexico, Princess Charlotte also received a gift from Barack Obama, the President of United States. As mentioned in Time, Obama give the one year old a jigsaw puzzle and the White House dog (Bo) stuffed animal. Before her birthday, Barack Obama gave Princess Charlotte a rocking chair and a baby blanket at the time of her birth..

As for the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Tudeau, Princess Charlotte received a book and a snowsuit. David Cameron, who is the British Prime Minister, also gave out a set of reading materials which is a collection of Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales.
