According to TV Fanatic, the "The Originals" writers Sean McKenna and Christine Laskodi sat with The Winchester Family Business' Alice and Nightsky to talk about the last episode of "The Originals." They also discussed whether "The Originals" lead stars, Sam and Dean will enjoy a happy ending on the show.

When the four were asked if Dean should ask Cesar and Jesse for help, given that the pair is also good hunters, they think that it is not necessary. Christine notes that Jesse and Cesar have already met their finish line and this should remind the Winchester brothers that they will have their own as well.

"As much as I wanted to see them come back and help Sam and Dean, it was good that they got to have a happy ending," Sean said about Cesar and Jesse helping the Winchester brothers in "The Originals". "That really does happen pretty much never. It also means that there might be a chance for Sam and Dean to get their own finish line and have that happy ending."
