Taryn Manning, who plays Pennsatucky in "Orange Is The New Black," was the subject of a blind item last summer. It suggested that her character could be killed off because of her drug problems, per Crazy Days And Nights.

No character can be safe in "Orange Is The New Black," because, despite its funny moments, the show is also a depiction of life in prison and prisoners with violent tendencies. "There's a lot of laughs, but you must buckle your seatbelts," co-star Kate Mulgrew, who plays Red, said about Season 4, via Digital Spy. "It gets darker. It gets very dark. I think you will be very surprised," she added.
