'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers, News & Updates For May 12 & 13: Abigail Rejects Chad; Kayla Gets Sick; Steve Gets Info From Claire

A shocking event happened in the May 12 episode of "Days of Our Lives": two people have died from the flu outbreak in Salem and more citizens are at risk of getting the virus. As a matter of fact, the May 12 episode will show one of the protagonists dealing with the flu virus and the May 13 episode involves a heartbreaking decision from Abigail.

The "Days of Our Lives" May 12 episode involves Kayla getting infected with the flu virus. The character gets sick because she has been at the hospital trying to help the other patients affected by the disease, Inquistr reports.

For the May 13 episode of "Days of Our Lives," Abigail will tell her husband Chad never to visit her again at the hospital. Abigail is in a psychiatric facility in order to deal with her personal demons.

"It seems that Chad will end up agreeing to stay away, but fans will surely be wondering if this is the last they will see of Kate Mansi in the role," Inquistr explains. The actress has been reported to be leaving the show very soon and this storyline might be the explanation for her disappearance.

There are other important events to watch out for the May 12 and 13 episodes of "Days of Our Lives." These involve Steve getting important info from Claire; Joey and Jade going to Aunt Simone's compound outside of Los Angeles; Aiden meeting Andre; and Rafe talking to Hope about what she feels for Aiden, according to We Love Soaps.

So what is Steve trying to learn from Claire? It turns out that Steve is getting worried about Joey and Jade and will head to California in order to find them. Things are getting more exciting and heartbreaking for the characters of "Days of Our Lives."
