Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively are expecting their second child this year. As the two wait for their newest bundle of joy, the 39-year-old drops comical parenting tips on Twitter.

Is Ryan Reynolds planning to publish a parenting book? With his brutally honest and sometimes whimsical takes on parenting, he could write a book about being a dad. In fact, he had tweeted about writing a book about parenting.

"I'm teaching my daughter that the sun goes down each night because it's mad at her," Reynolds posted on Twitter. "Probably gonna write a book on parenting at some point."

Ryan Reynolds On Being A Dad

Despite his tongue-in-cheek takes on parenthood, Ryan Reynolds was never shy to admit his love for his daughter James and currently pregnant wife, Blake Lively. According to Daily Mail, Reynolds had gone back and forth regarding the sacrifices he'd be willing to go for them.

"I used to say to [Blake], 'I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you.' I would say that to my wife," he told David Letterman in 2015. "And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby."

Ryan Reynolds On Unusual Baby Names

Aside from parenting tips, Ryan Reynolds has also explained his daughter's unusual name. According to "The Proposal" actor, he felt he and his wife didn't quite break any new ground when they chose to name their daughter James.

''In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we're not really breaking any new ground here, Reynolds told Good Morning Britain. "'It's not like Summer Squash Meadow Lark, or something.'"
