"Steven Universe" Season 3 spoilers for the upcoming episode titled "Barn Mates" revealed that Lapis Lazuli and Peridot will finally have the chance to bond, reports The Mary Sue. In the teaser clip released by Cartoon Network, Peridot was talking to herself while imagining possible conversations with Lapis.

The "Steven Universe" Season 3 clip then showed Lapis whispering to Steven that she thought she was going to be living alone when he offer her a place to live in. Steven then tries to make things work between them by drawing a line on the floor to mark Lapis and Peridot's respective spaces.

The publication notes that this "Steven Universe" Season 3 clip hints that this situation can go in two ways: either Peridot and Lapis Lazuli will bond over this or this may result to a war between the two. Meanwhile, A.V. Club reviews the latest episode from the "In Too Deep" story arc.

According to the publication, the "Steven Universe" Season 3 episode "Same Old World" was one of the show's best. The episode recently showed more of Steven and Lapis' relationship that was only briefly touched upon in previous episodes of the CN series.

It remains to be seen, however, whether Lapis will choose to live on Earth and at the same areas as the Gems. Previously released "Steven Universe" leaked clips seemingly hint that Lapis will have more scenes with Steven and Peridot as there remains the threat of Yellow Diamond's arrival on Earth.
