'Titanfall 2' Release Date, News & Update: New EA Game Deadlier With Grappling Hook Surprise, Respawn Boasts Bigger Map

"Titanfall 2" by developer Respawn Entertainment gets deadlier with the addition of a multi-faceted grappling hook alongside new mech swords. While more Frontier challenges are expected from the new EA game, "Titanfall 2" will fittingly now run on a bigger map.

According to Eurogamer, new information surfaced on "Titanfall 2" through a Reddit post. The post gave "Titanfall 2" artwork and gameplay teases, which seem consistent with Respawn Entertainment's hint on the official site.

Citing IGN, the "Titanfall 2" official site display shows up as a key portion in the leaked artwork. This more or less allows more confidence on the new "Titanfall 2" details.

Quite interesting for players will be the added gameplay abilities that "Titanfall 2" will bring with the new grappling hook. "Titanfall 2" strategy will certainly have more flexibility given this addition.

"They've added a ton of new pilot abilities including the addition of a grappling hook," the post stated. "My source said you can use it quite extensively, for getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, or tactical plays such as pulling enemies while they're midair."

'Titanfall 2' Platform Changes, Release Details

Respawn's recent official "Titanfall 2" teaser displayed the promise of mech swords in the sequel. A "Titanfall 2" addition that had hearts fluttering with puppy love, to say the least.

Gamespot reports that unlike the first game, "Titanfall 2" will be available on XBox One, PC and PS 4. Another change will be the full single player campaign for "Titanfall 2."

EA hinted at a last quarter rollout for "Titanfall 2" in 2016. The Reddit post corroborates this, indicating that the Respawn will be ready with "Titanfall 2" as early as October.

EA Play announcements on June 12 are expected to include a big reveal for "Titanfall 2." The promised global "Titanfall 2" announcement is tagged for EA's pre-E3 2016 events in Los Angeles and London.
