According to reports, there will be a new villain the new season played by Toby Jones and the cast and crew will be filming in Morocco.

Toby Jones Will Be The New Villain In 'Sherlock' Season 4

According to BBC, Toby Jones will star in the second episode of "Sherlock" Season 4. The "Infamous" actor is very excited and happy for his role in the popular series. "I'm excited and intrigued by the character I shall be playing in Sherlock..." he said.

"Sherlock" co-creator, writer and executive producer Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss are as excited and as happy as Jones. In fact, they extend a warm welcome to the actor by saying great things about him.

"Delighted to have Toby Jones on board, bringing to life one of Doyle's finest villains," Moffat said. We're thrilled to welcome one of our finest actors to the Sherlock family. I know Toby will embrace the part with true relish!" Mark Gatiss added.

It is still unknown what particular character Toby Jones will be playing in "Sherlock" Season 4 but it will be big. Meanwhile, Digital Spy speculated that Jones would be playing the role of Colonel Sebastian Moran, the right hand of Sherlock Holme's (Benedict Cumberbatch) nemesis Moriarty. Moran is greatly affected by Moriarty's death that he wanted to kill Sherlock in London.

'Sherlock' Season 4 Filming In Morocco

Meanwhile, Cultbox reported that "Sherlock" Season 4 would be filming in Morocco. The production has already begun in Cardiff last month. They are already done with the first episode and are still working on the second episode. After this, the team will proceed in the Moroccan City for another round of filming.
