However, aside from Downey Jr. there are speculations that a female Avenger will take over. Who is she?

Black widow Taking Over 'Iron Man 4'

Movie Pilot suggested a female version of "Iron Man." If this will be pursued the new "Iron Woman" would be no other than the trained spy, martial artist, and sniper agent, Natasha Romanova also known as Black Widow.

If "Iron Woman" will be pushed, then "Iron Man 4" will be at bay. Are you ready to replace Robert Downey Jr. with Scarlett Johansson? Seeing from the past "Avengers" film, there is no doubt that the female superhero is great in action films.

Marvel Committed To Doing A Black Widow Film

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios maestro Kevin Feige revealed that they have nine movies after "Captain America: Civil War" and they are committed to doing a "Black Widow" solo film. " Of the characters that you've just mentioned I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow," he told Deadline.

When asked what convinced them to pick Black Widow from the huge roster of Avengers characters, Feige took the time to explain. "We think she's an amazing character. We think Scarlett Johansson's portrayal of her is amazing," he said. "She's a lead Avenger and has amazing stories in her own right to tell that we think would be fun to turn into a stand-alone franchise."

If one revisit the ultimate universe, there was a time when Iron Man and Black Widow dated and he created an armor suit for her. He later found out that she was a traitor. However, this twists isn't new to the Marvel universe. In fact, Captain America was a Hydra the whole time.
