"Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers reveal that Dean (Jensen Ackles) may choose to sacrifice himself for his brother, Sam (Jared Padalecki). In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ackles and Padalecki shared their thoughts on a possible ending for their characters in case the series is coming to an end.

Padalecki shared that it would be good to let "Supernatural" Season 12 end with letting the fans wonder whether the Winchester brothers are still alive or not. Padalecki also explained that no matter how the show wraps their characters, one important thing is to let Sam and Dean keep fighting as long as they can.

"The boys can't stop fighting," he said. "As long as they're alive, they're not going to stop fighting."

Ackles, on the other hand, admitted that he always thought Dean would sacrifice himself for Sam at the end of "Supernatural." Ackles believed that the show would come to an end with only one of the Winchester brothers alive.

While all these speculations about "Supernatural" Season 12 is enough to make fans excited for the upcoming season, Enstars reports that both Ackles and Padalecki still have no idea about the storyline for the next season. In an interview at the Creation Entertainment's "Salute to Supernatural," Ackles and Padalecki admitted that they have no idea on what's to come for The CW series.
