'Inferno' Movie Starring Tom Hanks [New Trailer]: How Prof. Robert Langdon Stops Human Annihilation

If you have loved the book, you will definitely love the movie, "Inferno." This new Da Vinci movie trailer speaks more truth than meets the eye.

The much-loved and internationally acclaimed symbologist, Professor Robert Langdon, together with Dr. Sienna Brooks is trying to stop a plague on global scale in this upcoming "Inferno" movie as cited on The Wrap.

Based on Dan Brown's thriller book of the same title, the "Inferno" movie trailer opens with an unidentified man committing suicide by jumping off a tower. Following the tragic incident, Prof. Langdon was summoned by the witness to the suicide where clues lead him to drawings of Dante's "Inferno" that have been changed.

Briefed about the situation, Langdon and his companion analyzes the map of Dante's Hell and then travels to Florence to search for the death mask of Dante Alighieri. But someone had already stolen the mask even before they could get there. Video footage showed who stole the mask. The problem is, it is no other than Prof. Langdon himself. The baffled professor flees.

"Dante defined our conception of hell 700 years ago, but these circles have been altered. 'Dante's Inferno' isn't fiction - it's a prophecy," Langdon declares as cited in an article on Variety.

A madman tries to exterminate half of the world's population on top of killing Professor Langdon. Suffering from amnesia, the professor sought the help of Dr Sienna Brooks, hoping to help him recover his memories while he fights for his life.

Ron Howard returns as film director. Brian Grazer and Howard are producing. David Koepp wrote the "Inferno" script like what he did for "Angels & Demons." The 2 previous installments, "Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons," grossed over a whopping $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office.

"Inferno" will be in cinemas this October 14, 2016.
