"Steven Universe" Season 3 is still on a hiatus and fans are wondering whether they will have to wait for months to see the "Summer of Steven" arc that was initially slated for a June release. A leaked clip from the Cartoon Network series showed Peridot hugging what appears to be a toy alien.

"Steven Universe" Season 3 return date for "Summer of Steven" is believed to be this July following the release of "In Too Deep" in May. It was previously reported that the next arc for the CN series will be released in June, but seeing that the month is about to end with no updates from the network, it looks like new episodes will be released in July.

While fans are still worried that they will have to wait longer than expected for the return of "Steven Universe" Season 3 on air, leaked clips titled "Too Short To Ride" were released on YouTube. The description for the said clip revealed that the leak came from the CN Anything app, which seems to confirm that the leaked video is real.

However, the "Steven Universe" Season 3 leaked clip does not really give away anything about the upcoming episode of the show. The 3-second video only showed Peridot hugging what appears to be a toy alien, which led to speculations that Peridot will be paired with another alien in the upcoming episodes. The other clip showed Peridot playing with Steven.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot also noted on the possibility that Homeworld stole Russia in "Steven Universe" Season 3. According to the publication, in the episode titled "It Could Have Been Great," there was a giant hole in the map where Russia is located.

This could mean that Homeworld used that specific part to breed new gems. However, there appears to be more story behind this "Steven Universe" Season 3 episode that will be unveiled in the upcoming episodes.
