Considered as one of the highly anticipated video games this 2016, "Final Fantasy XV" will finally be released this September. As its long awaited launch looms, game publisher Square Enix recently unveiled a bunch of screenshot photos for "Final Fantasy XV," which provides a glimpse of what fans can expect from the game.

Avid "Final Fantasy" fans have patiently waited for almost a decade before the JRPG sequel, "Final Fantasy XV" finally took off the ground. Based on the previous reports, the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" release seems worth the wait.

'Final Fantasy XV' Weapons And Transportation

According to WCCFTECH, the latest batch of "Final Fantasy XV" screenshots showed massive weaponry. As a matter of fact, the weapons include a shield, small daggers, large spears, giant shuriken, one-handed swords, a great sword and magic, which will be used by "Final Fantasy XV" protagonist Noctis.

'Final Fantasy XV' New Game Feature 'Guard Mode'

Aside from the cool weapons, delectable food and fantastical beasts, "Final Fantasy XV" also brings a new game feature known as the "Guard Mode," Yibada reveals. Through this feature, Noctis will be able to avoid attacks and perform counter attacks to enemies.

In addition, "Final Fantasy XV" Guard Mode can also trigger the "Evade" and "Just Guard" skills, as well as a "Link Attack," where Noctis and his friends Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus will collaborate to launch an attack. The Guard Mode can also trigger a "Back Link Attack," which enables Noctis' pals to attack an enemy from behind, causing them extra damage.

Lastly, Noctis may also acquire the "Shift" skill in "Final Fantasy XV" Guard Mode. The "Shift" skill will allow Noctis to "warp" into various places, dodge enemy attacks and help him heal and recover MP.

'Final Fantasy XV' Fantastical Creatures

In the "Final Fantasy XV" realm, gamers can summon the fantastical creatures called "Astrals" for help by demonstrating Noctis' powers and skills. Based on the report of Siliconera, the Astral Titan creature has been living peacefully in the "Final Fantasy XV" world until the Nilfheim army attacks.

'Final Fantasy XV' PC Version Rumors

"Final Fantasy XV" is reportedly console exclusive and will only be available on Xbox One and PS4 on Sept. 30. However, rumors have it that Square Enix is contemplating to release a PC version of the game, noting the possibilities for Steam and Windows 10 version, GameSpot reports.

There are also reports claiming the release of "Final Fantasy XV" on Sony and Microsoft consoles' upgraded versions such as PS4 Neo and Xbox Scorpio, Kotaku learns. But Square Enix has yet to make an official announcement.
