During the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV" fan event in Los Angeles on Mar. 30, game publisher Square Enix revealed some exciting information about the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" game. So, listed below are 3 exciting things about the upcoming game for those on the look out.

1. What Is The "Final Fantasy XV" Plot?

Narratively speaking, "Final Fantasy XV" is reportedly toning down its connection to the "Fabula Nova Crystallis" mythos, Only SP notes. The game's plot will also be more straightforward as it tries to bridge the modern realm with the fantastical.

In addition, "Final Fantasy XV" will also feature Florence and the Machine's cover of "Stand By Me" as the game's main theme song. There will also be more action-oriented combats in "Final Fantasy XV."

2. "Final Fantasy XV" will take 40 to 50 hours to finish.

"Final Fantasy XV" fans should get ready to play Square Enix's game for the long haul. According to Gaming Bolt, director Hajime Tabata hinted that the RPG is expected to take 40 to 50 hours to finish.

"We expect 40 to 50 hours to reach the end. But, to be honest, I have no idea...!" Tabata told Famitsu. "The story has been split up into chapters, but a section presumed to take an hour can end up taking far longer. I would expect the average time to be a bit longer."

3. What fate does "Final Fantasy XV" bring to the franchise?

All diehard "Final Fantasy" fans know that the series has been cheating death for three decades, noting its beginning back in 1986. As the series got trapped in its own shadows and amid the increasing fan dissatisfaction, as well as diminishing interests, GameZone reveals that "Final Fantasy XV" is the franchise's one shot.

The publication added that if "Final Fantasy XV" will not be a smash hit, the franchise will reportedly end. Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy XV" will be released on Sept. 30. It will be available for PS4 and Xbox One for $59. There will also be a "Final Fantasy Ultimate Collector's Edition."

Bonus: Platinum Demo, A Movie And Limited Edition Games

"Final Fantasy XV" will also have a new platinum demo, a companion anime, full-length movie and two limited edition versions of the game, Engadget learns. The "Final Fantasy XV" companion anime will focus on lead character Noctis and his three traveling companions.

The five-part "Final Fantasy XV" anime series is titled, "Brotherhood." "Final Fantasy XV" CG-animated feature film, on the other hand, is titled, "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV." The movie will feature the voices of "Game of Thrones" stars Lena Headey and Sean Bean, as well as "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul.
