'Game Of Thrones' Spinoff? Lyanna Mormont Has Fans Clamoring For Her Own Show; Get To Know Bella Ramsey

When "Game of Thrones" Season 6 introduced Lady Lyanna Mormont, the leader of Bear Island, fans immediately embraced her character. She had such a strong and no-nonsense attitude for a child. The actress who played her, Bella Ramsey, was equally impressive, with her solid screen presence and command of the scene. Now, fans are calling on HBO to have a "Game of Thrones" spinoff with Lyanna Mormont/Bella Ramsey in the lead.

The biggest surprise to this "Game of Thrones" breakout star is that Bella Ramsey is only 12.  Playing Lyanna Mormont is her first acting job, according to reports. The young star exclusively spoke with Making of The Thrones and said she didn't expect the reaction from fans for Lyanna Mormont. She describes that everything has been "really crazy" since her character was introduced on the show.

Preparing For Lyanna Mormont On 'Game Of Thrones'

It took her awhile to realize how important her character would be in "Game of Thrones." But she understands who she is quite well and holds Lynna Mormont's strong personality to high regard.

 Amusingly, Bella Ramsey couldn't watch most of the show due to its risqué content. To prepare for her work on "Game of Thrones," her parents only let her watch "suitable snippets" when she found out she got cast.

Bella Ramsey As Lyanna Mormont Impresses Co-Actors, Director

Sophie Turner, who plays Lady Sansa, revealed Bella Ramsey as Lyanna Mormont upstaged the actors older than her. The actress said that the 12-year-old knew her lines and was incredible in their first scene together. "She really showed us up because she is amazing and such a delight," said Turner per Time.

"Game Of Thrones" director Miguel Sapochnik revealed that after filming another pivotal scene for the finale, Bella Ramsey also left the other adult actors impressed. "There wasn't a single person in the room who didn't applaud her when the day was over," said Sapochnik, via Tech Insider.

'Game Of Thrones' Spinoff With Lyanna Mormont/Bella Ramsey

Per Independent, fans have been wishing that Lyanna Mormont/Bella Ramsey star in the planned "Game of Thrones" spinoff, if it should happen. Besides, there is plenty to draw stories from in House Mormont, which could very well deliver great episodes.
