"Heroes of the Storm" reveals a new character, Gul'dan, is a Warcraft character. He clearly draws inspiration from from Warcraft's Warlocks. He is described as a "sustained damage ranged" assassin.

Along with Gul'dan, Diablo's Auriel is also being introduced. However, we do not have a release date for either of the "Heroes of the Storm" characters.

Gul'dan's abilities are described in "Heroes of the Storm." He looks like a walnut even when he was a young shamam. His thirst for power is in his greatest strength as well as weakness. His abilities in "Heroes of the Storm" are given below:

Trait - Life Tap (D)

Gul'dan has Mana on "Heroes of the Storm." But it is not regenerated like the other mana users.

"Life Tap" should be activated to sacrifice a portion of your Health, restoring 25% of your maximum Mana

Basic Abilities

Fel Flame (Q) - It is a fairly straightforward attack. It releases a wave of flame that damages each enemy it passes through.

Drain Life (W) - It is a channeling ability which allows him to stand in place. It drains the life from an enemy over 3 seconds. It damages the target and at the same time heals Gul'dan each second while channeling.

Corruption (E) - Three attacks are carried out one after the other using Corruption. It attacks in a straight line. It causes the enemy to take damage over time. If aimed correctly, it can hit enemy many times. The damage can be stacked up to 3 times.

Heroic Abilities

Horrify (R) - Causes all enemies in the area to Fear. It makes them run away from where it was cast for 2 seconds. It allows safe getaway or strong initiation.

Rain of Destruction (R) - This causes a meteor shower or a firestorm to rain down in a large area. The enemies are damaged when they are hit by random meteors. "Heroes of the Storm" Gul'dan remains immobile while casting this.

"Heroes of the Storm" showcases Gul'dan and is currently available on Public Test Realm and can be used until July 11.
