'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 51 Recap, Episode 53-54 Will Reveal Who Black Goku Is

"Learning more about Son Goku will make me even stronger!". This is Black Goku's declaration of waging war against Son Goku and humanity in the recently concluded "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 51.

The Son Goku-Black Goku clash in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 50 left many counting on speculating the whereabouts of Future Mai, who was seen helpless in a scene recall before the episode ended. In "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 51, dubbed "Feelings that Transcend Time - Trunks and Mai", everyone is surprised to see a time machine that Bulma had saved before Trunks went into the future, according to IBTimes IN.

Whis and Beerus are both skeptical as to Black Goku abusing the Ring of Time by going in and out of timelines, creating a series of chasms between the present and future. What's sad about the future timeline is that the world is seemingly destroyed in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 51, with just the Resistance led by Future Trunks and Ma.

Present Goku doesn't give up on Beerus and Whis not wanting to help him with his training, as Bulma and the others try to figure out how to reactivate the time machine Future Bulma had saved previously. Vegeta also decides to practice in the Gravity Room instead. Goku then goes to King Kai's place to ask for training assistance in the latest "Dragon Ball Super" episode.

In a related AOTFB post, Black Goku is seen hovering in the future and momentarily changes into orange robes, like the real Goku. Black Goku also stated having imprinted the real Goku's fighting abilities in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 51, during their battle in the present.

Also, present Bulma's parents arrived and check what happened while they were away. The heroes feel some hope after Bulma's father offered to help fix the time machine. It's also pretty sure to share how special Future Mai was to Future Trunks, with the present Mai blushing with Future Trunk's revelation.

The downside though, is that Future Mai didn't make it. Many would have loved the ending to Future Trunks and Mai's story, but who knows? Also, Episode 52 of "Dragon Ball Super" (Master and Pupil Reunion: Son Gohan and Future Trunks) would be airing next week, on July 17. Here's a sneak peak to Episodes 53 and 54.
