UFC's Ronda Rousey Coming Back and Fight Amanda Nunes? UFC Star Does Reebok Ad Taking Down Pressure to be Perfect

Mixed Martial Arts fighter Ronda Rousey has been out of the ring for eight months now after her devastating loss from Holly Holm, which was a first for the UFC fighter/actress, and now rumors have surfaced claiming that she is set to fight Amanda Nunes. Also, Rousey has appeared in an "intense" Reebok advertisement that goes against perfection.

The women's bantamweight title was held by Rousey before she got defeated by Holm. Holm then defended it to Meisha Tate just recently and after the UFC 200 last weekend, Nunes took the tile from Tate. Many fans are now asking if Rousey will be fighting Nunes in an attempt to redeem the title, Sports Rageous reported.

Will Ronda Rousey Redeem the Title?

Since Rousey's lost from Holm last year, the title has been passed three times to different women in under a year. Accordingly, many of the fighters are competitive in the women's division and they all want to get a shot at the UFC women's bantamweight title.

If and when Rousey will indeed be fighting 28-year-old Nunes and redeem the title, it would be a great comeback for her. Her defeat from Holm has been dubbed as the most disappointing fight in UFC history.

Ronda Rousey has not Decided on the Fight

UFC president Dana White said in a recent statement that he wants to see Nunes and Rousey fight this year or early next year. However, he was quick to say that Ronda Rousey is yet to make the decision. However, if Rousey does not agree to coming back to the ring, Holm could get the chance to win the title from Nunes again. Tate will not be able to have a re-match with Nunes since she has been placed on a 185-day medical suspension because of a broken nose from their UFC 200 fight.

Rousey did say in her recent interviews that she was not only physically beaten but also emotionally when she lost from Holm. She reportedly even got to the point of thinking about suicidal thoughts.

Ronda Rousey Appears on new Reebok Advertisement

Despite her hiatus from the UFC ring, Rousey was seen appearing in a new advertisement for Reebok. She was heard saying in the beginning of the advertisement, "Here's the thing about being perfect. Perfect never gets truly tested." She is seen wearing a low-cut dress and has a full make-up on. As the video progresses, Ronda Rousey starts to remove all the glamour such as her fake eyelashes and her hair extensions.

Rousey then goes on to say that perfect never gets to silence its critics and never gets a shot at redemption. She continued, "So, yeah. I'm fine not being perfect." She is seen supposedlt stepping into a ring and throws punches as the advertisement comes to an end. Does this mean Ronda Rousey is okay with losing from Holm and is gearing to be back in the UFC ring? Fans are still waiting for an answer.
