‘Jill and Jessa: Counting On’ News: Why Josh Duggar Won’t Apologize Now For The Sex Scandal?

Since Josh Duggar went out of faith-based rehab in March, people have been keeping an eye on him and watching the news on whether he would appear in "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," his sisters' show. All kinds of rumors have been swirling around, one of which is that the Duggar's eldest son is not showing any remorse for his actions and won't apologize now for what he did.

Josh Duggar on Sex Scandal: Sorry Not Sorry?

News broke last week that Josh Duggar is going to have a guest appearance at "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" soon. Fans normally would expect him to finally broadcast an apology for all the scandals he's been involved in. But according to The Hollywood Gossip, an In Touch report said a sorry from Josh Duggar is something that won't happen. A source reportedly told the tabloid, "One thing you probably won't hear is that he's actually sorry, as he believes that external forces were to blame for his behavior." Josh Duggar molested four of his sisters, and he cheated on his wife Anna Duggar with an Ashley Madison adult pornography account, and yet he is not sorry?

Josh Duggar Did Say Sorry

An adult in his right mind should show remorse for wrongful behaviors, especially of this magnitude. But why Josh wouldn't do that now? The Duggar family actually released a public statement back when the scandals broke, and Josh Duggar might probably thinking that is enough of an apology. On their official Facebook page, Josh Duggar wrote, "Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret."

"I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling," he added.

"I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God's grace, mercy and redemption."

TLC Denied Josh Duggar's Stint On 'Counting On'

A source from TLC has denied any truth in In Touch report, clarifying that Josh Duggar is not going to join that cast of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," People magazine confirmed.

Josh Duggar got caught up in a child molestation scandal as a teenager and admitted to cheating on his wife. This led to the cancellation of their long-running reality TV show, "19 Kids and Counting." His sisters, Jill and Jessa, were able to return to the television with their own show, "Counting On," which is gearing up for a second season.
