'Star Wars Rogue One' Darth Vader Scenes Promises to Give You the Chills [WATCH]; Director Hints On Villain's 'Pull'

Lucasfilm fans have a lot to look forward to when its new standalone movie hits theaters end of this year. Perhaps one of the most highly anticipated parts of the new movie includes "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader scenes, and by the looks of it, it won't disappoint.

Director Gareth Edwards dished on these highly anticipated "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader scenes and dished on how epic it will be. "He's got such a gravitational pull, the second he shows up you just get sucked into Darth Vader," he told the crowd at the Star Wars Celebration event in London, The Week noted. "So it was a process to try and figure out how to pepper that in in a way that felt right."

The director also shared the challenges he had in making the first standalone "Star Wars" flick. "Everyone is making their own movies," he said. "They'll all have their own style and voice...

"[But] it's such a fine line. If you go slightly to the left, it's not 'Star Wars.' It's some other sci-fi movie. If you go slightly to the right, you're just copying what George [Lucas] did. Trying to navigate this thing where it's new but feels fresh was the dance that was the process of making the film."

While not a lot has been disclosed about the supervillain's involvement in "Star Wars Rogue One," the mere confirmation of his short cameo has gotten fans really excited. As previous reports already mentioned, Vader will still be the same ruthless villain he was and he has a few sinister acts up his sleeve in the upcoming movie.

Previous "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader reports claim that the addition of the well-liked villain is what "Star Wars Rogue One" really needs. As Cheat Sheet noted, bringing him back to the big screen was a good idea "because it works."

"Star Wars Rogue One" is slated for a December 14, 2016 release date.
